The residential cruise line Villa Vie Residences announced this month that it was launching a programme that would allow travellers to join its ship, the Odyssey, at any port as it travels around the world for the next several years.
The ship is expected to visit 425 ports across 140 countries, and the programme will cost less than $40,000 (£32,000) a year, according to a company statement.
