Trump hands cabinet roles to wrestling tycoon and TV doctor

McMahon will serve as education secretary and Oz - best known globally as Dr. Oz - will lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

In a statement, the president-elect extolled the "incredible" job that McMahon has been doing in her current role as transition team co-chair and wrote: "As Secretary of Education, Linda will fight tirelessly to expand 'Choice' to every State in America, and empower parents to make the best Education decisions for their families. We will send Education BACK TO THE STATES, and Linda will spearhead that effort."

McMahon was made transition team chair in August, after donating $814,600 to Trump's 2024 campaign as of July. She served in his first government, leading the Small Business Administration from 2017 to 2019.
