IT will no longer be free to spend at penny at the loos on the seafront at Looe after Easter.
The facilities have received a makeover and modernisation, and it will now cost 20p to use them.
Looe Town Council said work has been completed on the refit and and redecoration at the seafront toilets before they re-open for the tourist season.
Finishing touches and a final clean are being done before opening at the end of this week. Outstanding external cleaning and painting will be completed after Easter as bad weather has delayed the work.
New water-saving toilets and sensor taps have been installed in both the male and female toilets and the urinals converted to a waterless system for a trial period.
The town council says it would like to receive feedback so that it can make an informed decision about whether to convert permanently to the waterless system.
