PLANNERS REJECT IT DUE TO 'INSUFFICIENT INFORMATION'
Big Wheel plan for the Hoe is out thrown

PLANS for a big wheel to be situated on Plymouth Hoe this summer and for the foreseeable future have been thrown out.

Plans were submitted for a new big wheel which allow people to take in the stunning views of the Sound, but council planners have rejected the move.

Last year, it was announced that Event Attractions Limited had been granted a licence for the siting of a 38-metre-high Observation wheel on Plymouth Hoe. The 38-metre-high Observation Wheel has 24 gondolas, so whatever the weather, 360-degree views across the Hoe can be enjoyed from the enclosed pods.
