The charity has been named as an Investing in Volunteers achiever, regaining a quality mark for good practice in training and managing volunteers.
Citizens Advice Plymouth said they helped 6,669 residents in the city last year, with help provided with 36,509 issues. That represented a 28% increase in the number of local people seeking advice compared with the previous year.
A team of more than 40 volunteers played a huge part in this, giving 5,975 hours of their time and helping 1,198 people in Plymouth and beyond.
