PLYMOUTH’S five-star Boringdon Hall hotel is building 14 “wellness” rooms and outdoor hot tubs where guests can unwind for up to £490 a night.
The award-winning hotel, at Plympton, expects to open 12 wellness rooms and two wellness suites on August 18.
Built near the Gaia Spa and its Spatisserie restaurant, the rooms will include use of a Gaia yoga mat, products from the Gaia Skincare brand, “mindful literature” and care kits and robes.
The business is also building an additional relaxation room, with outdoor hot tubs, and stressed the project is as environmentally friendly as possible, with its walls featuring living moss “to remove toxins from the air and replace with clean, fresh oxygen”.
