NEW Labour MP Fred Thomas has vowed to 'rebuild trust' between voters and their elected representatives, in an exclusive column written for The Herald and our sister website PlymouthLive, in the wake of his General Election win in Plymouth Moor View.
Mr Thomas won his seat from Conservative candidate Johnny Mercer, and he has outlined a number of priorities, mentioning healthcare, jobs and housing as well as improving transparency with voters.
He writes today (on pages 14-15): "As your newly elected MP for Plymouth Moor View, I pledge to deliver the honour you have given me with service, trust and competence.
