PLYMOUTH Argyle’s 15-goal top scorer Morgan Whittaker is ‘desperate to stay’ at Home Park, the club’s head coach Ian Foster has declared, amid continued speculation about the future of the 23-year-old.
Whittaker has emerged as one of the top young talents in the Championship after making a £1 million move to the Pilgrims from Swansea City last summer and, therefore, lots of other clubs will be closely monitoring him.
The Premier League trio of Brentford, Fulham and West Ham United have this week been linked with having a interest in signing him in the January transfer window, but Foster yesterday stressed that Argyle want to keep Whittaker at Home Park.
