A FRUSTRATED Plymouth father whose daughter was due to start school this month says children with special educational needs are 'forever waiting to get the support they need!
Russell Heywood, aged 32, fears many kids including his little girl - are being left without the full-time education they are entitled to. Harper, aged four, has autism, is nonverbal and has many special and sensory needs. She has an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place, but due to a lack of suitable school places, she is being held back from school for another year.
