Tamar Crossings were forced to suspend services around 6pm on Saturday evening blaming the “extremely hazardous conditions”.
Commenting on Facebook, one ferry user said: We were on the 6pm ferry that docked at 6.10pm. The flooding was the worst I’ve ever driven through. The ferry staff were brilliant and spoke to every car individually asking if they wanted to risk driving through the flood water or wanted to go back to Torpoint.
