THE enormous Crystal Serenity cruise ship is due to visit Plymouth next week with another four vessels scheduled to arrive in Britain's Ocean City before the end of September. Plymouth Cruise Partnership has advised businesses to prepare for a "flurry of cruise ship calls" in the next few weeks.
The recently relaunched Crystal Serenity is due to arrive in Plymouth on August 23. The ship and set off from Marseille, France, on July 31 following an extensive refurbishment. She will anchor in the Sound for 10 hours, from 8am, as part of a voyage from Southampton to Reykjavik, in Iceland. The Bahamas-registered vessel can hold more than 1,000 passengers and 655 crew.
