Well having 'unleashed' my inner burlesque dancer in the past I must say this sounded a lot safer...with the added benefit of a glass of wine.
I've 'dabbled' with paints over the years with the generous encouragement of my dear friend, one of the country's leading landscape artists, Alan Cotton. I go at it great guns, declare how much I love it, then never keep it up.
My excuse is always that I don't have a dedicated space for 'creating! I've been spoiled having been allowed on several occasions in the past to work in Alan's studio where an easel and canvas and a bewildering array of paints and brushes await and the light is perfect. But my dining room table or a corner of my husband's freezing cold 'Mancave, reluctantly offered, just haven't been the right place to create my magnum opus! No this sounded right up my strasse.
