GLAM-METAL rockers KISS are expected to cancel their forthcoming gig in Plymouth.
The theatrical Americans were due to play at Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park stadium on June 3 but it is understood the gig promoter will announce the show is off by the end of this week.
It will be a disappointment for fans of the make-up-clad group, who scored hits including Beth, Black Diamond and Crazy Crazy Nights, during a 50-year career. It is not yet known why the gig, part of the four-year End of the Road World Tour, is likely to have been cancelled but it would be the latest musical event to be kiboshed in the South West in recent weeks, with other organisers blaming the soaring cost of living for putting strain on music fans’ pockets.
