MUSTAPHA Bundu has given himself something to build on after his brief debut appearance for Plymouth Argyle in the 6-2 victory over Norwich City, manager Steven Schumacher has declared.

GOOD START

The Sierra Leone international was an 87th minute substitute for Ryan Hardie and although only on the pitch for a short time he came up with the assist for the Pilgrims' goal after a good pass to set up Luke Cundle.

Bundu displayed the pace and power he will bring to the Argyle squad and Schumacher thought it was a 'brilliant start' to his time at the Championship club.

The 26-year-old was a late transfer deadline signing for Argyle from Belgian club Anderlecht on September 1 after plans to sign striker Josh Coburn on a season-long loan from Middlesbrough fell through.
