THE devastated Plymouth family of a little boy, whose life was cut short after he was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour, now want to give back to the 'secret garden' where he passed away.

Jayden Lamerton passed away in May, surrounded by his heartbroken family. The six-year-old, a huge Liverpool FC fan, was diagnosed after being referred for an MRI after a visit to the eye infirmary, as 'his eye had suddenly turned inwards.

Weeks later, on January 5 last year the MRI showed a 'lump' in his brain stem and Jayden's family were told the 'unimaginable' - he had a high grade brain tumour diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma.

The schoolboy died in the secret garden room at Derriford Hospital on what was the 'worst day' of his family's lives.
