A FORMER Royal Navy chef and his partner are bringing a new fine-dining restaurant to Plymouth.
Thirty One will open next week in the Stonehouse premises which were formerly home to the Rocksalt restaurant.
Lee Calver, 31, and Chloe Lillicrap, 26 – the restaurant’s owner and sous chef – saw the Rocksalt premises advertised and immediately fell in love with the venue. The couple now hope this venture will help them make a name for themselves in the industry.
They recently departed The Croft in Hatt where Mr Calver says he gained the experience needed to put him in the right direction.
