AN area in Plymouth has a brand new cafe run by a local woman who grew up in the area. The business owner took on the premises a few weeks ago after walking into Crownhill Village and realising there was "nowhere" to grab a morning latte.
With its shabby chic look and "superb" coffee the new cafe, Latte Dah, is already popular with locals.
Owner Joanna Smith made a snap decision to set it up having previously ran Airbnb properties and looked after a litter of puppies.
Joanna, 39, grew up in nearby Manadon and recently moved back to Crownhill. She said "starting out is scary", but the "relaxed atmosphere" and "quality coffee" at Latte Dah has been well received.
