E-PETITION CALLS FOR ROUTE TO CONNECT COMMUNITIES
CARL EVE

PLYMOUTH residents are demanding the council reconsiders its stance on routes to the new crematorium in Haye Road after it was revealed they would have to use private vehicles to get there.

In September it was revealed that mourners would not be able to catch a bus to the city's new crematorium as it emerged that none of the bus companies serving Plymouth were prepared to run services to The Park, which has just opened in Plympton.

Plymouth City Council said it could not afford to fund a service but said it would keep the situation 'under review' and hopes to make an announcement in the new year.
