PLYMOUTH Argyle are assessing the fitness of midfielder Adam Forshaw after he had to be substituted in the second half of the 3-1 defeat away to Sunderland due to a knee issue.
The Pilgrims will play the fourth of seven games in 22 days when they host Coventry City in the Championship at Home Park on Wednesday night. Whether the experienced Forshaw will be available for that remains to be seen.
If the 32-year-old is ruled out, then Adam Randell - who started both of the recent FA Cup ties against Leeds United - will likely line up alongside Darko Gyabi in central midfield.
Foster explained after the game against Sunderland that Forshaw had 'tweaked his MCL' (medial collateral ligament) during the warm up but the former Norwich City midfielder had felt he was still fine to play.
