Shane White’s first half goal had given Parkway the advantage at the Charters Community Stadium, but the hosts hit back to level things up and earn a point with an equalising goal just after half-time.

Parkway named an unchanged starting 11 from last Tuesday’s 5-0 win over Dorchester Town with the returning Joe Belsten replacing Alex Cairo on the bench the only personnel change.

The hosts started brightly winning a free kick around 30 yards out in the third minute with Adam Parkes doing well to tip over Ik Hill’s effort.

Winchester continued to force the early pace, winning a couple of corners with Jordan Rose heading just wide on six minutes.

Parkway continued to defend well and with Winchester dominating the midfield exchanges, Parkway were being forced to play on the counter but gradually getting to the pace of the game. They forced their first corner on 13 minute which was cleared with the hosts breaking away and Tommy Wright firing over from distance.
