TORPOINT'S policing team has been relocated to a converted farm building while Cornwall Council demolishes their old station as part of a plan to redevelop the town centre.
The officers in the neighbourhood policing team will move to the Rame Innovation Hub, a newly developed centre in Antony, three miles from the current station. Cornwall Council has bought the ageing Ferry Street police station, among other properties, and is planning to demolish it to make way for a multimillion-pound town centre regeneration project.
