A POORLY Plymouth boy has had his dream come true after meeting famous YouTuber DanTDM. Connor Sargent has undergone four heart surgeries in his lifetime and was granted a special Make-A-Wish.
The 12-year-old has stage three chronic kidney disease and will require a kidney transplant and further heart surgery throughout his life and he picked DanTDM as the celebrity he wanted to meet.
DanTDM, real name Daniel Robert Middleton, has 27.2M subscribers on YouTube and is best known for his video game commentaries on Minecraft, Roblox, Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog. The 31-year-old met with Connor, who has been watching his videos during hospital stays.
Connor, who was born with Pulmonary Atresia - a heart defect causing poor blood flow to the lungs - uses the world of gaming as "a place to escape to", which is why he was over the moon to meet DanTDM, who even gave him a special gift.
