GAS main works have started in Plymstock and motorists are being warned of delays until they are completed on July 7.
Oreston Road will be closed for the next three weeks, while there will also be two way traffic lights 24 hours a day on Plymstock Road. The works are so upgrades to the gas network can be carried out.
The work is part of a wider upgrade project, which started last year, and is essential to keep the gas flowing safely to heat and power local homes and businesses.
Wales & West Utilities has liaised with Plymouth City Council, and it has been agreed that traffic management will be in place between June 19 and July 7.
