A PLYMOUTH school found to have ‘serious weaknesses’ has received praise from Ofsted inspectors at a recent visit.
Inspectors visited Hyde Park Infants’ School and found it was still ‘inadequate’ and continued to have ‘serious weaknesses’, but leaders were praised for making progress.
Inspectors visited the school in October and spoke with the head teacher, representatives from the governing body, the chief executive officer (CEO) and the chair of the trust about the next steps for the school. The inspectors found “more work is necessary” for the category of concern to be removed at the Hyde Park Road school.
