DOZENS of displays showcasing military and civilian vehicles, aircraft and even science fiction were part of Saltash Model Club's annual public show - which raised money for a planned memorial bench in the town.
The club hosted their show at Ashtorre Rock in Saltash on Saturday and Sunday, October 5-6, with organisers saying it attracted 'hordes of enthusiastic people with a special interest in the intrigue and skills of model making! The show was opened by Saltash Mayor, Councillor Julia Peggs, accompanied by her husband consort Geoff Peggs and also included a model railway display.
