HERALD REPORTER VISITED THE CITY'S NEW HOME BARGAINS STORE FOR... COFFEE AND CAKE

Store offers more than just a bargain for home

PLYMOUTH’S latest Home Bargains store opened last Saturday and shoppers have been flocking to the new store at Errill Retail Park, in Plympton. The brand new shop also has a café inside, so I popped in to see what food and drinks they have.

I had already done a spot of shopp ing, it was 10am, and the store was getting busy, so I was ready for a coff ee. The café is conveniently situated at the exit point, but in the corner before you get to the tills.

You can take your trolley or basket into the café, before you check out and pay. I found this convenient as it gave me a chance to get my bags ready – and to chill for a while before heading to the till.
