STEVEN Schumacher believes the second international break of the season has come at a good time for Plymouth Argyle after a run of six demanding Championship games in 22 days.
It began with a 2-1 defeat away to Ryan Lowe’s Preston North End and the Pilgrims went on to pick up only four points from those matches, which came from a 6-2 rout of Norwich City at Home Park and a 1-1 draw away to Hull City.
Argyle lost 3-1 at home to Swansea on Saturday and have dropped to 18th position in the table with their fixture not until October 21 when they are away to West Bromwich Albion because of the international break.
