THE future of out-of-contract Plymouth Argyle defender James Wilson is still unresolved more than a month after the League One champions announced their retained list at the end of last season.
There have been no indications about whether the 34-year-old will accept the offer of a new deal from the Pilgrims or possibly move elsewhere.
At the moment, Argyle have just three defenders on their books for next season Brendan Galloway, Macaulay Gillesphey and Dan Scarr, who signed a new two-year contract on May 27.
So it is no surprise that they have been linked with a defender in a latest piece of transfer news as Steven Schumacher works to build up his squad for the 2023/24 Championship campaign.
