PLYMOUTH Argyle will begin their 2024/25 Championship campaign away to Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, August 11.
Wayne Rooney's first match as the Pilgrims' head coach will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, with a 4pm kick-off at Hillsborough. Argyle will have a midweek Carabao Cup first round tie the draw for that takes place this morning - before hosting Hull City in their opening home league game of the season on Saturday, August 17.
The Pilgrims will then be away to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, August 24 before their former manager Steven Schumacher makes his first return to Home Park with Stoke City on Saturday, August 31. Fixtures are subject to change of date and/or time due to live TV coverage by Sky as part of their new £935 million broadcast deal with the EFL.
