A 56-acre woodland near Looe with planning permission for 25 luxury treetop villas is among the assets being sold by administrators of a troubled company.
Hall Wood Forest, four miles from the coastal resort, was subject of a planning application in 2017 to transform the site with “unique luxury second homes”.
Owned by Adamo Property Group, the development of the site at Pelynt was described as a “no expense spared”, but is now being sold by Christie & Co on behalf of CRG Insolvency & Financial Recovery. Two vacant Looe hotels, Commonwood Manor and Rivercroft Hotel, owned by the same company, are also being sold.
The Adamo Property website describes plans for 25 architecturally unique luxury second homes at Hall Wood Forest as “truly inspirational retreat houses” which will be “nestled with 55 acres of ancient woodland, owners will have access 365 days a year to unparalleled sustainable luxury villas within the beating heart of the Cornish countryside”.
