A PLYMOUTH zero waste shop is set to close as the owners downsize their business.
Jar opened on Batter Street in 2019 and expanded its zero-waste business in 2022. The Tavistock branch closed in February this year, and now the Hyde Park branch is set to follow. The Batter Street branch is continuing to operate.
Earlier this year, owners Helen Hubbard and her sister, Caroline, said their bills had risen too much to keep all three sites open. Now they have confirmed cost increases are the reason for the second closure.
