Coast guard info leaked to Pak, man nabbed in Gujarat

THE Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad has arrested an Indian national, named Dinesh Gohel, on charges of espionage.

For several weeks, sensitive information about the Indian Coast Guard and maritime border operations had been reaching Pakistan. Acting on a tip-off, ATS had been monitoring Gohel, a resident of Okha, before executing the arrest.

During the investigation, authorities learnt that he had shared classified details.

The Gujarat ATS, in a release, stated that a sub-inspector received an input that Gohel had been in contact with Pakistani Army or ISI agents via WhatsApp for some time.
