NK-made drone from Pak shot down

THE J&K Police on Sunday shot down a Pakistani drone of North Korean origin and recovered magnetic bombs and grenades from it.

SSP Kathua Ramesh Chander Kotwal said the police were conducting early morning searches in Rajbagh area of Kathua district, which is close to the International Border (IB) with Pakistan, as part of anti-tunnel and anti-drone exercises.

"We had received information from locals about drone activity in the border area. We had put the area in focus and were conducting early morning searches in the area," he said.
