A HEALTH department probe into the rising cases of hepatitis A in Taliparamba municipality has linked the outbreak to food and beverages served in hotels and juice shops that used water supplied by a private distributor.
In response, the department has directed the Taliparamba municipality secretary to immediately halt the distribution and initiate the seizure and testing of water samples.
