Shah praises C'garh police on Maoist 'surrender policy'

UNION home minister Amit Shah on Sunday conferred the Chhattisgarh police with the President's Colour award in recognition for 24 years of "exemplary service and unwavering dedication to the nation."

Shah praises C'garh police on Maoist 'surrender policy'

On the occasion, Shah appealed to Maoists to surrender. He called upon the extremists "to relinquish violence, join the mainstream of the society and contribute towards development of the country."

He said Chhattisgarh has the most attractive surrender policy to rehabilitate the Maoists.
