THE KSRTC bus depot at Aryankavu, that has been lying in a state of neglect, is set to be upgraded into an interstate bus terminal, in a collaborative effort with the Tamil Nadu government. The long-awaited decision to upgrade the depot was made after 15 years.
As part of the agreement, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) will launch bus services from the Tirunelveli depot to Aryankavu. KSRTC will commence services from Aryankavu to Punalur and Kollam in the first phase.
