A group of scientists have discovered a new glacier in Uttarakhand that is rapidly growing in size.

A rapidly growing new glacier discovered in Uttarakhand

The newly-discovered glacier is located in the Niti Valley, a remote area in the northernmost region of the state, close to the India-Tibet border. Stretching 10 kilometers in length, the unnamed glacier, which lies adjacent to the Randolph and Rekana glaciers, spans approximately 48 square kilometers.
