Brokerages were expecting net profit to fall by only 7.6% to ₹1,432 crore, and revenue to remain flat at ₹9,236 crore for the quarter. Against this revenue from sales declined 2% to ₹8,970 crore in the reporting quarter, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
