I refer to the article "Debate heats up over driving age limit, medical test after accidents involving elderly drivers" (Nov 3).
With Singapore's ageing population, it is inevitable that there will be more older drivers on the roads.
I believe a driver should be allowed to drive as long as he or she is medically and mentally fit to do so.
But it would be helpful for other drivers to be able to recognise older drivers on the road.
