Striker Mohamed Salah scored the winner as Liverpool came back from a goal down to beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 and go top of the English Premier League, ahead of Manchester City's showdown with Arsenal later on March 31.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp told the BBC: "I would have loved to not be 1-0 down, I would love to have been four or five-nil up but that's the best we played against (Roberto) de Zerbi's Brighton.
"Playing wise it was really good, defending wise, yes always a struggle but there have been games against Brighton we were never close but this time we were calm.
That is the first of the last 10 (league games this season), let's keep going." He was referring to Liverpool's recent record against the Seagulls.
After winning their first six Premier League games against Brighton, they won just one of their next seven (four draws, two losses) before March 31.
