ANGUISHED families of Lucy Letby's tiny victims are enduring fresh agony as the killer nurse's parents voice their support for campaigns to have her freed.
Susan and John Letby have not spoken publicly since their daughter was convicted of killing seven newborn babies and trying to murder seven more.
But sources close to the couple say they are in contact with experts who believe the evidence against her is flawed and that Susan, 63 and John, 78, express their "heartfelt thanks" to those questioning her guilt.
And they hope the support will boost their efforts to overturn what they describe as "the biggest miscarriage of justice in British legal history", the sources add.
Last night victims' families reacted furiously, with one saying: "Lucy Letby is a serial killer. She has been convicted by two separate juries and she has been through the Court of Appeal and been denied. There is no conspiracy. The last couple of years have been torture, our babies' memories tarnished."
