LOUIE BARRY settled the grudge match between Stockport and Wrexham with another piece of solo magic that enhanced his growing reputation.

Watching off-duty England ace Cole Palmer would have appreciated the skills shown by the on-loan Aston Villa starlet, who settled the latest bout of a rivalry which has grown as the clubs have climbed from the National League over recent years.

The win maintained County's push for the League One play-off places and added to Phil Parkinson's woes as he wrestles with problems up front.

Wrexham have now scored just six times in eight away games this season and have Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott out injured, while Paul Mullin is still struggling for form.
