MONSTER IN THE MAKING

SERIAL police rapist David Carrick’s claim that he suffered childhood trauma has been blasted as a malicious lie” by a relative.

The family member was horrified by the trial judge's sentencing remarks to Carrick, 48 based on what he had told a probation officer that he had an upbringing that must have affected your personality”.

Today the relative, who wishes to remain anonymous, shows us family photos of the lifer never seen before.

“David had a very happy childhood it's a malicious lie to say he didnt. His parents both worked, they always had money, and the kids had everything they could want,’ she said.

“He went horse riding, and skateboarding with friends. He had taekwondo classes. There were regular holidays in Spain. But he was a a spoilt brat, the favourite. He pad was controlling, manipulative, narcissistic, and always got his way.

“He became a monster because that’s the way he is, and now he’s using the 4 blame game?’

It comes days after we revealed the torment of J Carrick’s long-term partner and victim, Darcianne Da Silva who bravely waived her legal anonymity to tell her story after he admitted 44 charges, including 24 rape counts, for crimes committed over 18 years.
