A SURGE of child sex abuse claims is expected to hit the Scouts as more stories emerge online.
Sixty allegations have been posted on a victims' website called Yours in Scouting.
One of its founders, Lucy Pincott, 29, a teacher from Rotherham, South Yorks, who was sexually assaulted aged 13, said: "The Scouts are still trying to brush child abuse under the carpet.
"By sharing your story anonymously you're supporting future Scouts and creating a place for survivors where people can see they are not alone."
