WAYNE Rooney has already notched his first 'home' win as a manager in America - before even taking charge.

The England legend is said to have a special "Coleen release clause" built into his megabucks Major Soccer League contract with Washington's DC United.

He persuaded bosses to let him go back home if a Premier League job arises.

The surprise move came after his wife gave her blessing for him to return to the US club he played for from 20182020. Back then she and their four boys went with him - but this time they are staying in the UK.

A source said: "Wayne planned summer with the family after leaving Derby County. He didn't expect to be offered a job so soon.
