I want to be the best version of myself to take care of my child: Kajal

The only way to fight post-pregnancy stress is to have a strong core community around you: Kajal

The Magadheera actress gave birth to a baby boy, on April 19, who she and her husband Gautam Kitchlu named Neil. The new mom is excited to celebrate her first Mother’s Day today. Kajal opens up about motherhood, working through her pregnancy and how she plans to find her way through all the stress that comes with being a new mother. Excerpts:

This Mother’s Day must be special for you. What are your plans for the occasion?

This Mother’s Day is definitely special for obvious reasons. I plan to spend the day with all the mothers in my life, like my mom, sister, sister-in-law and mother-in-law. It is going to be a lovely family dinner. I will take the opportunity to express my undying love profusely to my mother. I hope to be a mother like my mom. My sister and I bond with her like her best friends.

THOUGHTS ABOUT HOW YOU WILL BOUNCE BACK CROP UP ONLY WHEN YOU ARE ALONE IN THE NIGHT. EVERY TIME I START THINKING ABOUT HOW I CAN LOSE MY EXTRA WEIGHT OR GET BACK TO WORK, I TURN TO MY FAMILY

In an earlier interview with us, you had spoken about how you were inspired by your sister and sister-in-law to become a mother. Now that you are one, is it what you perceived it to be?
