Minister, 4 MLAs Join The Fight
Secunderabad: A day ahead of deadline, the Secunderabad Board Cantonment (SCB) office was flooded with 'objection letters', on Monday, as hundreds of residents appealed against the proposed closure of six roads in SCB. They, instead, urged the authorities to reopen the stretches for the benefit of civilians living across the defence belt.
According to SCB sources, the board has received over a 100 signed letters each letter from a residential welfare association (RWA) contained anywhere between 100 and 150 signatures-from locals, public representatives and managements of schools and religious places of worship, on Monday alone, seeking scrapping of the road closure plan.
