AAP spreading lies on recruitment of Agniveers, says BJP

New Delhi: The Centre and BJP have come down hard on Aam Aadmi Party for claiming that the Army has changed its rules to include caste in the criteria for recruitment of Agniveers, saying that AAP keeps putting the armed forces in the dock by resorting to lies.

With the defence ministry and Army asserting that there has been no change in the recruitment rules and saying that a “needless controversy” has been generated, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said, “Political parties like AAP engage in politics of falsehood for their gains and question the Armed forces for their partisan agenda.”
