Indrani lawyer asks Rahul about 2015 cash transfers

Mumbai: Witness Rahul Mukerjea during his cross-examination in the Sheena Bora murder trial, denied murdering anyone. Rahul’s answer came after accused Indrani Mukerjea’s lawyer Ranjeet Sangle asked him, “Whom did you murder in the car on or around July 22, 2012 which you abandoned at the domestic airport Mumbai and ran away to Dehradun?” Special public prosecutor Manoj Chaladan objected to the line of questioning, calling it “scandalous.”

Rahul also denied that his fiancée Sheena, his mother and he were in “the conspiracy of sham and alleged disappearance of Sheena”. He denied that he had, on purpose, neither filed a missing persons report nor had allowed anyone else to file it.
