Offering a solution to the problem of stray animals plaguing Delhi, AAP on Thursday promised to launch the “Be Indian, Adopt Indian” campaign after winning the municipal polls.

New Delhi: AAP chief spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj said there was a widespread apathy in the BJP-run Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) towards citizens and animals, leading to the menace of stray dogs, monkeys and cattle in the city. “After analysing the issue, AAP has prepared a detailed blueprint to give relief to the people of Delhi from the menace of strays. It will also give a safe and respectful habitat to the animals,” he claimed, adding that it is one of main promises made by CM Arvind Kejriwal in his “10 guarantees”.
